Frequently asked questions
All of our studies offer compensation for your time and participation. Compensation varies depending on the study, including its duration, number of visits, and activities involved. The amount will be clearly communicated before you decide to participate.
Every study is different. Some may require a single visit, while others involve multiple visits or at-home activities. You’ll receive information about the expected time commitment and schedule before enrolling so you can decide whether it works for you.
After signing up, the information you provide helps us identify research opportunities that may be relevant to you. When there’s a potential match, we may contact you with more information and invite you to complete a study-specific eligibility screening
Each study has specific eligibility requirements. You may be asked questions about factors such as your age, health, lifestyle, or product use. Completing a screening questionnaire helps our research team determine whether a particular study may be a match.
Before deciding to participate, you’ll receive information about what the study involves, the expected schedule and time commitment, study activities, compensation, and other important details. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions before providing informed consent.
Your privacy is important to us. We clearly explain what information we collect, why it’s needed, and how it is handled in connection with research opportunities and study participation. You can review our Privacy Policy for additional information.
Our studies are conducted by qualified research professionals, reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB), and conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards to help protect participants’ rights, safety, and well-being.
We understand that work, family, and other commitments can affect your availability. Study schedules and visit requirements are provided before enrollment. If an opportunity doesn’t fit your schedule, you are under no obligation to participate.
Activities vary by study and may include questionnaires, using study products, attending clinical visits, or collecting samples such as skin, scalp, or oral swabs. You’ll receive clear instructions and can ask questions if you’re unsure about any procedure.
By joining our participant community, you can hear about new research opportunities that may be relevant to you. Opportunities may include research in skin, scalp, oral, and intimate health across our research locations in New York, Cambridge (UK), and Singapore.
